The foundation has always been concerned about the development of universities and youth. In 2019-2020, under the initiative of Mr. Teguh Widjaya, Chairman of Sinar Mas and also the honorary chairman of the foundation, the foundation works with Fudan University and Nanjing University respectively by funding each on strategic researches on various issues concerning the role of China in world development. The fund will last for three years.
