In order to encourage more college students to participate in both academic and non-academic social activities aside from their academic work, the Foundation set up this scholarships to award those who perform extraordinarily well in cities such as Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Quanzhou, Shanxi and etc. Since 2008, the Foundation has awarded more than 2,616 students who demonstrated their performance in the areas of leadership, social participation and various talents and qualities with total award up to RMB740 million.

While awarding scholarships, the foundation also cooperates with colleges and universities to explore more diversified project models. In the summer of 2018, the Foundation worked with Huazhong Agricultural University and Nanjing Forestry University and selected 12 outstanding students to Hong Kong and Singapore for a two-week exchange program that helped broaden their horizons and gained international experience.

Every year, the Foundation holds on-campus seminars with awardees who are willing to share their views and experience. Peer learning also plays an important role during the course of young adult growth. The Foundation hopes by implementing more in-kind programs, will there be more learning and contribution opportunities for the students.
